Proform chrome steel timing chain covers are made from heavy-gauge steel that is thicker than typical timing covers, greatly reducing the likelihood of leakage around the cover flange area caused by over-torqued fasteners. These covers are 2-piece bolt-together units. The steel timing chain covers are chrome plated for long-lasting beauty and include an oil seal.
