Proform steel timing chain covers are made of heavy steel for durability, and to ensure excellent gasket sealing. The covers have the Chevrolet script and a Bowtie stamped-in and are officially licensed by GM. They're engineered to meet GM standards for reliable installation and include a GM production oil seal already installed. They're designed to be replacements for engines with a bolt-on timing pointer.
