Aircraft quality, 8740 chrome moly steel is used to produce premium grade, race quality fasteners, right in Milodon’s own plant. Ground and thread rolled after heat treat to assure the exacting tolerances. 190,000 PSI tensile strength is equal to the most demanding of applications. Studs are required where maximum gasket loading and reduced wear & tear on block threads are desired. Kits include 4130 heat-treated, parallel ground washers and high strength nuts.
